Parktronic Disable

W221/W216 Parktronic Startup Disable

Already incorporated in our larger, ModuleSettings product, this smaller, cheaper product will solve an annoyance that seems to be getting worse and worse with W221/W216 vehicles. namely Parktronic. The system works great when it’s not close to any interfering sources. However, more and more vehicles are using parking sensors that seem to throw Parktronic off balance, producing an annoying beep and scary error messages. This generally happens when waiting at a light, in close proximity with other vehicles using offending parking sensors. Unfortunately, Mercedes did not include an option to have the system toggled off when the vehicle is started, requiring the driver to press the “off button” every time.

Our product will toggle Parktronic to OFF every time the vehicle is turned on. The driver will have to turn the system back on when parking, if required. This will stop the annoying interference beeps and error messages.

This product can also be used to essentially disable Parktronic if your system is broken or has other faults and is not being used.
