Prototype Ambient Illumination Control Unit
This is the prototype ambient illumination control unit. The unit interfaces with our custom app via BLE and sets all LEDs to requested color combinations. The system has the ability to detect changes in the car environment via multiple sensors and adapt accordingly. It also uses special memory that allows for virtually unlimited re-writes of color data. Control of external devices is also possible via firmware features. For example, you can have the system shut off specific OEM lamps in certain circumstances, such as running multiple footwell lights. The OEM footwell lights can function normally when the system is off. When the system turns on, it takes over the footwell lighting function by using custom RGB modules and shuts off the stock lamps. Best of both worlds.
