Prototype – Modulesettings Control Unit
This control unit was developed to handle most functions associated with adding new devices to an already existing car environment. The unit acts as a bridge between existing car networks (CAN/LIN) and new devices. The unit can control new devices via custom firmware and handle any functions the new devices offer. It also includes a display that shows various system statuses like temperatures, on/off devices status, etc. Temperatures are managed via an built in fan and temperature sensor. Communication with the unit is accomplished via BLE and a custom designed Android app.
